The Kiwanis Club of Leesburg was chartered November 16, 1922.  Since that time we have rendered servuce to our community in many ways.  Over the years, we, as a group and individually, have helped support the Kid's Corner Playground, the Blood Bank, Boys and Girls Clubs, Apples for Teachers, Youth Sports, Wildflower Planting, the Stars Program at LSCC, and Scholarships for Leesburg High Graduates.  The Kiwanis Clubs throughout the State of Florida have joined with the health department to increase the number of preschool children immunized statewide.

We also participate in the annual Baby Fair which is an effort to educate new parents about prenatal and infant care. We helped send kids to sports camps through a $1,000 donations to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Internationally Kiwanis is fighting Maternal Neonatal Tetanus.

The Leesburg Bikefest is a recent addition to our club's activity log. Sale of pecans around the holidays is another successful fundraiser for Leesburg Noon Kiwanis.

Historically, Leesburg Noon Kiwanis built the original City of Leesburg Swimming Pool at Venetian Gardens.

We do offer fellowship as well. Every week you can meet with friendly folks for lunch.  Interclubs let you meet with fellow Kiwanians around the country as do joint projects with other clubs.  Before long you discover you know "everybody".  Meanwhile, you also discover you are having fun and doing good in your community.
